Auditions for the 2024/2025 academic year will take place in Week 1 from the 16th to 20th of September in the Laidlaw Music Centre.

Auditions for our ensembles are very informal and usually involve playing/singing a piece of your choice followed by some sightreading. Further group-specific details can be found on each of our ensemble pages and on social media.

Audition times and locations are as follows:

Big Band: Monday 16th/Tuesday 17th September (1-5pm) in the McPherson Recital Room 

​

Symphony Orchestra: Wednesday 18th (11-4pm)/ Thursday 19th (9am-4pm) September in the McPherson Recital Room 

​

Chamber Choir: Monday 16th/ Wednesday 18th September (1-4pm) in the Gifford Room. 

​

Strings: Tuesday 17th September (1-5pm) in the Gifford Room 

​

Ukelear Fusion: Thursday 19th (6-7pm)/ Friday 20th September (5-7pm) in the Gifford Room
