Student Run

The University of St Andrews Music Society is run entirely by students. Any student can become a member.

Student Oriented

We aim to provide students of all abilities with the best possible musical experience through our six ensembles.

Community Minded

Contributing to the St Andrews community is important to us.

We host weekly concerts during term time and support a local charity each year.

Bringing students together through music...

Established in 1876, Music Society (MusSoc) is St Andrews largest musical 'family'. For each of our ensembles, the friendships between players are as important as the music-making and end of semester concerts. Regular socials after weekly rehearsals are a feature of each group and the larger society-wide events are the highlight of many social calendars!

Freshers' Week events, auditions, Society-wide socials, concerts...

the Music Society has a lot on.

Find out what we're up to.

We run a range of ensembles. Whether it's our Symphony Orchestra or St Andrews'

only ukulele group we have the perfect musical group for you!
